2006 – 2007 Season
Going into the final day of the final weekend of matches, Barrow just had to hold things together. However, as we all know, Barrow never makes things easy for themselves!
Jonathan Crawford, a heavy sleeper by his own admission, was responsible for bringing Scott Crawford, an equally heavy sleeper, and Steve Dixon to the match. As you have probably deduced, he slept in. Against all odds and road traffic laws, he made it to the venue on time and Barrow went on to win British League Division 3 North.
